  This is a terrible system that DURHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY has in place for the residents who recieve public housing. They want you to pay your rent on time but dont want to fix any repairs.They dont care about the drugs and chaos thats haunting all of these communities all iwant is for all of the problems in my home to be fixed and for us to get real police to protect us in these communities not ones who are hunt and kill sexual harrass and steal. I was to recieve the check for the food that spoiled because of a refrigerator they refused to replace. My problems are listed as follows. Its been two months since they were suppose to process a check for the food. Never recieved it. Instead hiring professionals to fix my tub they hired a man in a brown truck to fix it and he just spray painted the tub partially. They dont care if me and my child die from lead poising all they care about is rent. I have several leaks in my house which causes mold and mildew my daughter is constantly sick and i dont know if its from that or the growing pest problem that has occured. Also cabinets need to be replaced as well as pipes in the house. I have holes in the ceilings smoke detectors dont work someone please point me the right direction. I have made complaints they throw them away. Spoken to the supervisor nothing happends even called the Ceo. Next step the city of Durham!
